Lakers vs. Nuggets First-Half Highlights

The battle between the Lakers and the Nuggets was a tight one, having 2 wins each till game 4. Today, the Lakers loosen the knot a little bit as they win with a 103-94 in Game 5. Game 6 must be a do-or-die game for the Nuggets and as ‘goons-like’ they are, they certainly make any possible ‘clean’ tactics to tightens back the knot and to get a possible Game 7. Shall they win on Game 7, there’s a greater possibility that we will see the Nuggets in the Finals. Though I hope seeing Lakers.

It’s the second day of the week and Mo Twister is still out sick, hospitalized for at least 2 days for unknown reason. He was 41 degrees hot this morning according to last report from Grace Lee and Mojo Jojo.

It’s also the second week that Mojo Jojo and Grace Lee handle the show. But to be honest, the quality of the show is being jeopardized when Mo is out. Mojo and Grace both have nice choice of songs to play during the show, but the usual energy of the conversation was not present.

I suggest they at least take down some funny or crazy or any interesting latest stories in the internet and try to get the listeners converse about it. And of course, they should maintain the energy. Two mornings already and they sounded like they hate their jobs. But of course, I stay tuned because I like them. There’s just something they need to improve on being disc jocks. It’s their job and they should be good at it, right?

Anyway, Lakers lost again to Denver and it’s not a good sign. After the break, the game highlights.

It’s been a tough playoffs series for the LA Lakers. Denver Nuggets are too physical on the game, pushing everyone along their way. The Lakers hasn’t drop a single point lead as far as I know… Will they make it tonight?

Orlando Magic stole one game from the Cleveland Cavaliers as the game ended with a 1 point favoring the Magics. They were down with several points for most of the quarters but in the end, they wear big smile on their faces.

This is the first loss for the Cavaliers on the playoffs as they swept the First Round and the Semifinals, 4 to 0, against Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks respectively. They are now 8-1 on the Playoffs.

I’m not really sure when I became Dallas Mavericks’ fan, but when I think about it it sometimes seems I’ve been a fan all my life. The Dallas Mavericks is probably not a sounding team in the NBA but I’ve seen them in years and they’re a great team. If you’re gonna ask how much I know about the team, their records, their players names, please don’t because you probably know more than I do. I watch their games but believe me, after the game, I don’t even know the score. Just seeing them play is enough for me. And if they win, that’s a lot of extra.

They were in the playoffs this season. They lost the 2nd game against the San Antonio Spurs and went back 3 straight wins to the second round. But the second round against the Denver Nuggets is just not theirs. They lost first 3 games, bringing a bit of controversy in the 3rd game with a no-call-foul on Anthony’s last shot. But that happens in a game. They win on the 4th game and the 5th was the end. They exit the playoffs with a 4-1 favoring the Nuggets.

But I know it’s not really the end. I still believe they can come back with greater games in the next season. Dirk Nowitzki is their hero. Probably the best 7-footer player in the NBA history.

My favorite NBA team took the 3-1 lead over San Antonio Spurs lat April 25th, but this isn’t a time to celebrate yet. The Mavericks has a bad history in terms of Playoffs game. They haven’t made it to the playoffs since 2006. During that postseason, Mavericks played on the final against Miami Heat. They lead the finals 2-0 but consecutively lost 4 games. During that postseason as well, they had a lot of struggles to advance the playoff against the same team San Antonio Spurs. What makes it even similar situation is that they also took 3-1 lead, and still the SAS was able to tie it up. Mavericks got game 7 via overtime.

I hope Mavericks has learned their lesson well and advance to the finals.

Elimination round has ended, not totally since I think there are still on-going games…

Playoffs is about to start and I’m happy that the team I root for is in. Yeah, I am a proud Dallas Mavericks fan… And hey, there’s a rumor that Chris Paul will be playing with the team in the coming season… Wuhooo…

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball is also ending, and I rank 4/9 currently… Might still go down or might go up…
