Good times, guys! I’m sure you learned a lot of interesting “true” facts from the show today. We also had some interesting topics today from cheating-boyfriends to WWE finishing moves. I had a full attention to the show but only able to store less than half of information to my memory. Because you know, I had a short nap on the bus while listening to the show and we all know that memory is volatile (that’s what I learned from my computer subject).

Anyway, I think I have enough notes to share to you for tomorrows Php 100,000 stake. That’s all folks!

WWE Finishing Moves


There’s gonna be a ‘wrestling-concert’ once again in Araneta, Manila Philippines on July 10, featuring several WWE Smackdown Superstars. So of course, what do we expect now? -callers asking for FREE WWE tickets. Well, since several weeks ago there were already kind-hearted dads calling the show for their kids and to honestly tell you, they are good in convincing MVG for giving the tickets without much effort.

So, early in the morning, kids called and asked for tickets. MVG thought there should be some sort of mechanics before he give the free tickets to the caller and he asked callers to describe some of the best WWE finishing moves. I am no BIG fan of wrestling but I like the Stone Cold Stunner the most. Remember Dasha?

Anyway, to do the opening dance number on the said Wrestling concert are The Animal Batista, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Edge, Triple H and Undertaker to name a few.

Stupid Movies

I am a movie lover myself and I know my movies. I know which ones don’t deserve my love. Apparently, all the movies mentioned are also the movies I find stupid. I’ve seen Snakes on the Plane and it totally sucks. Anaconda also sucks as well as all other movies that are sort of “you already know the ending as it started“.

A funnier thing about these movies though is that you always get the chance of watching them like anywhere you go. They are being aired more often for reasons I don’t know.

Women don’t dress for themselves

It’s been a topic once upon a time on the show. Women dresses up with the very reason to make men impressed or to stand out with among other women. It happens most of the time. For them, dressing up is a competition like if you don’t dress up properly, you won’t get anything. You lose.

According to GBL, women dress up to impress men 50% of the time. They dress up to compete with other women 30% of the time and for themselves 20%. Based on my experience, I haven’t met a girl who dressed up for me. They all take them off.

Cheater or Not?

Grace Lee or GBL, opened up another interesting topic about her friend. Her friend was crying one day on her shoulder, wiping that slimy fluid called snot on GBL’s shirt. What happened is that he found packs of condom on her boyfriends toiletry bag he use to carry on his trips. She wonders why the hell does he keep condoms while she takes birth control pills. It clearly sounds like there must be someone else his boyfriends use it for. GBL tried to be positive to his friend by saying that the condoms might be there for 2 years already which is definitely impossible. I’m not taking the possibility that it’s there for no reason, but if you belong to the human race, what would you think?

More reactions came from every callers about this. According to them, it was very positive that the guy was cheating except for one caller who allows her boyfriend to cheat as long as he allows her as well and at the end of the day, they still love each other. Crazy idea.

MVG suggests a revenge for the girl. Get a box of condoms and pour it to his boyfriend in public. Or, get it on with a friend from college, keep the used condom and tie it in a not, and give it to his boy.

Contact names on your phonebook

We all know that sometimes it’s so hard to remember which number belongs to who in our phonebooks. MVG suggests to append a distinct description at the end of their names to easily remember them. For example, Grace Lee Superchest, Mojo Chainsmoker. Well, IMHO, this topic is boring so let’s just move on…

Facts

There’s a new segment on the show where MVG shares some facts about everything under the sun. Well, we know you can also learn those facts if you research on the internet, but when MVG shares it, it’s different. It’s learning and fun at the same time. MVG doesn’t just share the knowledge, but he also tries to see how the persons he shared the knowledge with react. He called some Starbucks staff in Canada and US and they pretty much seem a bit interested of the new thing they get. MVG called Sofitel to share a fact to the receptionist, but we got no reaction from her.

I hope they do this segment regularly, though it costs a lot on overseas calls. But it’s time and money well spent.
