Catering and Garden probably give you an idea of what it is about with me. Yes, we’re planning a wedding. We are already married for 4 years via civil marriage. And to celebrate our 5th anniversary next year, we decided to have a church wedding.

My wife has been very busy planning for the celebration ever since. This netbook I’m using right now is actually cached with wedding sites and all. She has sent literally hundreds of emails already to prospects for our catering service, wedding venues, churches. She actually resigned from her day job just to plan for this.

We paid a visit to Queensland Catering and Ysabel’s Garden in BF Resort Las Piñas last weekend to check what they offer. My wife should have all the details, but I can pretty much describe to you what’s there. We have not finalized anything yet, except the church.

Ysabel’s Garden offers venues for garden weddings as well as reception. It is located in BF Resort Las Piñas, few blocks away from Zapote-Alabang road. It has a lounge in front where they welcome guests who inquire about their services. Next to the lounge is the garden where the actual event happens. The garden can hold up to 150 guests, good enough for what we are planning. Their catering service is Queensland, which you can also separately hire if you have a different venue. We got a chance to taste their food when we were there, and according to my palates, their good but can be better.

We’re heading to more places like this in the coming days. Planning a wedding isn’t fun, so it must pay well when the day comes.
