Queensland Catering at Ysabel’s Garden, BF Las Pinas

Catering and Garden probably give you an idea of what it is about with me. Yes, we’re planning a wedding. We are already married for 4 years via civil marriage. And to celebrate our 5th anniversary next year, we decided to have a church wedding.
My wife has been very busy planning for the celebration ever since. This netbook I’m using right now is actually cached with wedding sites and all. She has sent literally hundreds of emails already to prospects for our catering service, wedding venues, churches. She actually resigned from her day job just to plan for this.
We paid a visit to Queensland Catering and Ysabel’s Garden in BF Resort Las Piñas last weekend to check what they offer. My wife should have all the details, but I can pretty much describe to you what’s there. We have not finalized anything yet, except the church.
Ysabel’s Garden offers venues for garden weddings as well as reception. It is located in BF Resort Las Piñas, few blocks away from Zapote-Alabang road. It has a lounge in front where they welcome guests who inquire about their services. Next to the lounge is the garden where the actual event happens. The garden can hold up to 150 guests, good enough for what we are planning. Their catering service is Queensland, which you can also separately hire if you have a different venue. We got a chance to taste their food when we were there, and according to my palates, their good but can be better.
We’re heading to more places like this in the coming days. Planning a wedding isn’t fun, so it must pay well when the day comes.

Beware of Mabhel Galdiano of Queensland Catering. Nagbabago siya ng price sa menu na ipapakita sa client. I experienced it. I asked for a copy of the menu for debut packages to Ms. Mary Amance. She gave me the right one. Then we went to Ysabel’s Garden for the food tasting. When we went there, si Ms. Mabhel ang nagexplain sa amin. Ang hinarap niya samin, 400 per head yung standard. So nagtaka ako, at tinanong ko sknya kasi magkaiba siya ng pinakita sakin at sinend ni Ms. Mary Amance. Sabi niya, yung package daw na sinend ni ms. mary amance, may 12%vat pa daw yun na idadagdag. bawal daw iwaive. Then come the next day, I asked another person of queensland to send me a package, tapos the same package as what Ms. Mary Amance sent me. So I called her up and ask her if may 12%vat pa, sabi niya wala na daw. 10%usage fee nlng daw ang idadagdag at delivery charge. By the way, yung sa standard menu na sinend nila sakin, 320 pesos lang per head. 80 peso difference. See?! If I give in with Ms. Mabhel, maloloko kami. Since 200 pax ang bisita, 16,000 ang makukuha niya from us! She is such a disgrace to queensland. Masarap pa naman ang food nila pero si Ms. Mabhel mukhang pera.
comment lng po, i think hindi lng po cguro kau nagkainindihan in trems of price but in my own experience ok nman po ang queensland kausap and before nman nila i-finalize total ay pinapa approve nman po nla lahat s client… mis understanding lng po cguro!!!

suggestion lang po sa queensland and ysabels…sana po gawin nilang 5 hours or kung magextend man wag naman sanang 5k per hour…ksi hindi naman naman pwedeng paalisin basta basta ang mga guests…kasi i have learned na 15 mins extension will be 1 hour na daw….sana lang po…..
for me so far ok nman po ung food ng queensland catering matagal n kming nagpapa cater s knila and the food is really great at a reasonable price, marami po clang menu to choose from and it depends on your budget of course, actually ilang memorable moments nrin po nmen clang nkasama in terms of family’s special occassions (debut to wedding) and it is true n before nyo po i-finalize the right package for you they will have an food tasting for two so if ever nman po na hindi pumasa ung free taste nila s panlasa nyo pede nyo nman po ito palitan so nothing to worry prin… keep up the goodwork for queensland and see you soon for my wed and daughter’s 7th birthday party!!!! tnx a lot!!!
