I was tuned in to Boys Night Out just a while ago when I heard that there’s an on going contest for bloggers sponsored by Sony. Guest on the show was a Sony representative, which for a reason that the noise on the road was too loud, I didn’t hear her name.

Anyway, I probably have the most wonderful Sony experience and recalling which one was it is so easy because I only got one. I own a Sony Walkman once and that’s the only Sony product I’ve ever owned. I lived in a barrio where people are less civilized and ignorant of things that operates on a battery.

When I had my Sony Walkman, it was a gift from my aunt who used to work in Oman, I didn’t even know that it’s called “Walkman”. I thought it was “Sony” because it’s what’s written on it. I was the only one who owns one among my friends back then, and whenever they borrow it from me, they go “Hey, can I try your Sony”? My Sony Walkman had a mono speaker and when we play in the woods, we sing along with the music and chill. I remember I also only owned one cassette tape, filled with recorded copies of classic tagalog love songs such as “Napakasakit Kuya Eddie”, several Friddie Aguilar songs, Jose Mari Chan, and Asin. So that’s pretty much it. That’s my one and only Sony experience and from then, my dreams of having another experience is still on. Oh and by the way, I used to carry my Sony Walkman tucked inside my Walker brief.

I’m sure everyone also has their own Sony experience because it’s a part of everyone’s childhood. It’s definitely the brand of all season, of all time.

My Sony Walkman definitely gave significance in my life just like the Sony’s World’s First 24.6 MP Full Frame DSLR: ?900 DLSR Camera which I would definitely brag about if I ever get to own one.
