How to enjoy 3D movies?

Guess which one is me...
Movies are now getting more and more hi-tech, most of them showed nowadays in 3D. You might get excited to watch movies in 3D, enjoyed it so much, or maybe get disappointed of the outcome.
This is new technology, new to our eyes. Yesterday, I watched a movie in 3D for the first time. At the start of the movie the 3D effects are noticeably clear. It was not ordinary. But when my eyes started to get used to it, I’m just like watching a regular film. As I focus on the effects, only then I can appreciate the beauty of 3D.
3D effects is also not good, or may I say ‘a waste of money’ if you sit far from the screen. Especially if the screen is not that big. 3D effect goes over the edge of the screen and the edge of the 3D goggles. I first seated me at the balcony and it’s not good at all. When I moved the front row, center seat, the closest possible, where I couldn’t see the walls, that’s the time I enjoyed the 3D effect better.
I got a little bit dizzy at first, and mostly on the fast movements because the image turns blurry. But again, it’s only until my eyes get used to it.
Another thing I would suggest to enjoy it much better is have someone beside you. In my case, I was alone, the only person at the lower level of the cinema, thinking that others might be thinking “what is this guy thinking?” And then later some people realized that I was just trying to enjoy the 3D effects so they stood up from their seats and get closer to the screen as well. “Aba, mas maganda nga pala pag malapit kasi buong screen lang yung kita mo.” Btw, the movie was “Clash of the Titans”.
Have you watched 3D movies lately? How did you enjoy it?
