The past weekend was probably the worst for people in Marikina and other cities affected by the flood. As I watched the news, all I can do was shook my head in disbelief. But the good thing was there were available means to help. Thru text and paypal donations.

But still, it doesn’t feel good to see our ‘kababayans’ in that situation.

Another good thing is that people on Twitter and Facebook were very concerned too. The boys of BNO; Tony, Sam and Slick Rick were so active giving out the numbers/hotline that people need. And talking about flood, the Babao couples flooded us with updates of the situation on Twitters. They kept every single follower updated all the time.

There was also flood on Facebook if you did not know. There was a girl named Jacque Bermejo, who calls herself a filipina, but left a message that sounds like this: “buti na lang am hir in dubai!maybe so many sinners bak der!so yeah deserving wat hapend!” And right after she posted it, everybody cursed her… flood flowed all over her multiply site as well. It doesn’t stop there because it also looks like she’s an instant YouTube celebrity right now. Look her up.
