They haven’t made it to the playoffs since 2006. During that postseason, Mavericks played on the final against Miami Heat. They lead the finals 2-0 but consecutively lost 4 games. During that postseason as well, they had a lot of struggles to advance the playoff against the same team San Antonio Spurs. What makes it even similar situation is that they also took 3-1 lead, and still the SAS was able to tie it up. Mavericks got game 7 via overtime.

I hope Mavericks has learned their lesson well and advance to the finals.
