Blake Griffin’s dunk is more than just a dunk.

We all know Blake Griffin is one of the best of all time power dunkers. And he jumped over a car that didn’t look as much as amazing than without a car at all. On this one, he jumped over on something bigger than a car which is Kendrick Perkins and it was wow. Well, not really ‘jumped over’ but still better.

Dwayne Wade posterizes on Andersen Varejao

Whoever doesn’t know Dwayne Wade, is certainly not following NBA. To the uninitiated, he’s the the leading scorer for the Miami heat. The latest they played against is Cleveland Cavaliers, lead by LeBron James, who declares himself “King” for his badass mastery of his game.

Apparently, someone from the Cavs still doesn’t know him pretty well. Or probably he has forgotten what Wade can do once he step on the painted key. And that was Andersen Varejao. Let’s take a look at this video, and then 2 more looks.

NBA: Dirk Nowitzki scores 40 points

I really regret that I did not pick Nowitzki for my fantasy roster this year and went for Carmelo Anthony. I honestly believe that is the worst decision I’ve ever made.

Anyway, I’m still pushing on getting him back to my roster. I’m offering everything just to win him back. He’s been always my first pick forever and I’m not sure what hit my head during the recent draft. Alright! he’s my man crush.

Nowitzki is the man. He’s an all around player. I mean, he’s the rarest kind in the NBA. At 7’0″, he shoots 3′s, drive through opponents, slams to basket, everything. He’s an offensive player, but is also sometimes earn credits for his defensive skills. In his last game against Utah Jazz, he scored 40 points, most of them he made in the fourth quarter. He has scored more than 20 points in his last 29 games including this one.

The NBA Asia Challenge: Live Stream tonight

Dominique Wilkins was on the show the other day, and if you wonder why the hell he’s here is because they are touring all across Asia for some basketball fun. Yeah, they pretty much miss the basketball very much. After the Philippines, I heard they will visit Japan and Korea as well, among others.

Together with D. Wilkins are other NBA retired superstars such as Vlade Divac, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Tim Hardaway, and Robert Horry. If you’re not a basketball fan, you might probably don’t have any idea who they are.

The event will happen tonight at the Araneta Coliseum. Tickets are available at the venue for as low as 264 Php. I heard the NBA retires will meet the PBA retires including Alvin Patrimonio, Ronnie Magsanoc and Benjie Paras, but take it with grains of salt. I am not sure.

This event is also airing LIVE tonight at CS 9, at 7:30 in the evening. And for those who are in the other part of the globe with internet connection, you may watch them the game live as well via TeamPilipinas.info.

Nothing stops a well-rested Kobe

The Lakers grabbed the first win of the NBA Finals 2009 with a 25-point lead finish against the Orlando Magic. Kobe Bryant scored 40 strong points adding 8 rebounds and 8 assists to win the game. He played for 37 minutes and 58 seconds on their first game.

This is the same as what Mo Twister was saying few days ago when a caller asked about who’s gonna take the first win. He said he has no doubt with Magic’s skills specially on Superman’s. He knows he is strong and unstoppable sometimes. But he also put a stress on Kobe Bryant being well-rested for few days. He’s been a Lakers fan for a long time and he had witnessed how Kobe performs from a break. No, it’s not what you’re thinking.

On the other side, Orlando Magic totaled 75 points in the first game. The Lakers executed their defense plan very well, limiting Howard to only 12 points with an Offensive Foul on Pau Gasol. It also seems like Jameer’s comeback is not as lucky, basketing only 6 points. He’s been on the court for 23:28.

King James and the Cavs Take Over Game 5

For Lebron James and the Cavs, this conference final is still far from over. Magic dominated 3 games against them, marking 3-1 in Game 4. But today the Cavaliers had another chance to try their best for the championship. The Cleveland Cavaliers is still the challenger in this case, as they have to beat Orlando Magic twice to advance to the next round which is the Finals. Magic on the otherhand has to do their best on their next game to stop the Cavaliers chance of throwing them out of the series.

Lakers take a crucial 3-2 lead

Lakers vs. Nuggets First-Half Highlights

The battle between the Lakers and the Nuggets was a tight one, having 2 wins each till game 4. Today, the Lakers loosen the knot a little bit as they win with a 103-94 in Game 5. Game 6 must be a do-or-die game for the Nuggets and as ‘goons-like’ they are, they certainly make any possible ‘clean’ tactics to tightens back the knot and to get a possible Game 7. Shall they win on Game 7, there’s a greater possibility that we will see the Nuggets in the Finals. Though I hope seeing Lakers.
