I tuned in right away to Magic 89.9 this morning and it seems that Mo and Andi are out. I can’t here their voices. Only Mojo was there. So I just left my phone at home and leave for work.

It’s nothing but another lucky day for this guy who just got a Beyonce Samsung cellphone soooo easily. He called on the show, tell a short success story about himself, and there he got a brand new Samsung cellphone. Faster than Magic.

How I wish I could also get a phone that easy.

This week has been so exciting in Good Times. I bet it’s been the most exciting week eversince. Well, I have been listening to Magic for years and I haven’t witnessed a week like this before.

Because of that IBM Thinkpad laptop that they raffled, the show became hotter. It’s hot I know but it’s gettin hotter and hotter. No wonder why other stations are trying hard to copy their style. No wonder why Max FM is very envious of Magic.

No wonder if next week, there’s a Car to raffle off. Or Game Consoles. Or House and Lot.

One of the most intense debate they had today in Magic 89.9 is the difference between Weakness and Temptation. It all began when a caller confessed that he cheated on his wife. Apparently, he drove his girl co-worker one night from a party and along the way he thought of scoring on her. They were both drunk.

The guy said that it was the first time he cheated on his wife since they got married 3 years ago. Mojo said that the guy was on his moment of weakness that time and Mo instantly rejected Mojo’s idea. Mo said that it couldn’t be weakness since the guy planned to do it. Mojo said that every evil deed is a weakness. Mo sited Adolph Hitler as an example, killing millions of people during The Holocaust. Hitler is a strong man and he did not show any weakness at all. They had many arguments about this this morning.

I think I would agree with Mojo on this one. The fact that the guy wasn’t able to fight the temptation of cheating on his wife with a co-worker shows that he was weak. He planned it along the way but still, he wasn’t able to stop his plan. He was taken over by the lust.

In the end, Mo’s advice to the guy is to not tell his wife about his cheating if he wants to save their relationship. Else, tell her. Another guy called, giving the same advice. Apparently, he has cheated on his girl for more than 30 times already.

Apart from having the best DJ’s in the country and playing the best music, Magic 89.9 also has the best radio shows from morning to the next morning. Listeners are interactive with the jock’s, giving opinions to topics, suggestions, to play games and to ask for something.

Magic 89.9 is also your FM genie. Ask for something, and you’ll have it. You don’t even have to win a game. Just call ‘em, tell them that you want an iPod as birthday gift etc… and you’ll have it. Insult them and ask for a free dinner, you can have it. Call them, praise them for being the best and you’ll have something even if you don’t ask. They will offer it whole-heartedly.

And this what makes them the best. Some radio stations are really trying hard to copy Magic 89.9 but they just can’t be at Magic’s level.
