There’s a sighting of a shining star on the show today – her constallation name is Iya Villania. She’s the Australian girl you see in Us Girls and Myx [Studio 23], ASAP ’09 [ABS-CBN], Mysmatch [TV5] & OMG [Q TV]. She is a new graduate from De La Salle University, which proves that she’s not your ordinary celebrity who cares only about being a celebrity. She’s a singer by heart, and finally she has an Album out entitiled “Finally“. Iya is the loveliest celebrity ever. So she’s on the show, her sweet voice with a bit of Australian accent sometimes is good to the ears of the listeners, but the thing is, I personally did not expect that she was there just to promote Sun Cellular’s new promos. Yeah, Sun provides good services, good network coverage and cheapest call and text rate which everybody wants. But it doesn’t mean that everybody experience the same good service, network coverage and cheapest call and text rate, right? Or is just me?. But don’t worry yet because she’s also joining the episode for today’s podcast, and she might talk other things than Sun.

I have been blogging about the show since 2007 and as much as possible, I kept this blog discrete because I have a horrible talent on putting up words, and readers might just ‘boo’ this blog or something. But the thing is, this blog had some free plugs on the show since Monday. And it just warms my heart and inspired me to write more and more about the show.

Now you might wonder why the hell is this blog is in ‘cantosph.com‘. Yeah it sounds like the ‘k’ tagalog word for sex, but it’s not it. Cantosph.com is a wholesome blog, wholesome as I am. But for the sake of the show, I transform to gtwm mode when writing about the show. Good thing about blogging is that I can have different persona, I can be a techie-guy or an naruto fan.

One of the funniest game being played in Magic 89.9′s Good Times With Mo, though played rarely, is the “Who Knows Mojo Jojo”. The mechanics is that Mo Twister dials a random phone number from random cities and provinces and asks the receivers if they know Mojo Jojo or at least have they heard the name Mojo Jojo.

With the span of time they randomly play the latter, my estimate is that less than 1% of the people being asked knows or heard about Mojo Jojo. Mojo Jojo might be known more to kids, since it plays the monkey villain in on of the children’s favorite cartoon, Powerpuff Girls. Some joke about it as the gay DJ in the morning show with De La Mar.

To add some proof that our favorite Gay Diva of the morning radio show does exist, I searched on wikipedia, one of the most reliable resources on the internet, and unsurprisingly, Mojo Jojo or Joseph Javier do not exist. Ooops, Mojo Jojo does exist, the Powerpuff Girls’ villain.

Mo Twister has his own article on wikipedia, so as Andi Manzano and Grace Lee. Well, Joseph Javier also has one, and here’s what it says.

There a showdown happening in Good Times With Mo and it’s called the Hottest Celebrity Showdown. It started two weeks ago, and it’s being done in basketball playoff format. 2 brackets [ABS-CBN] and [GMA7] with 8 contenders on each bracket. 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5.

The showdown kicks ass, like it’s the best showdown happening in showbiz ever. And it’s the most reliable so far, until Mo thought of a better idea on how to rate who the hottest celebrity is. Again, for the nth time, the list of hottest celebrities you see in Magazine are not reliable, like you can’t see how they rank it up, unlike this one. You should take a look at this and forget about the magazines.

The championship for each bracket has just ended. Anne Curtis beat up KC Concepcion for the ABS-CBN bracket while Iza Calzado won over Rhian Ramos for GMA7 bracket. Given the 4 contenders who battled for the championship, we don’t need more words to describe how the fight went anymore.

Like Mo said, KC and Anne were nines, it’s just Anne is 9.2 and maybe KC is 9.1. Meanwhile, between Iza and Rhian, it was a matter of voters preference. They have the body, beauty, total hotness of the package, good personalities. Maybe the age was considered as well though.

Hey guys, I just want to share a couple of pictures of our DJ Mo Twister, in close. No paparazzi could ever do it, because no paparazzi follow him, ever. It may seem to you that I am a little bit stalking (read as perverting) DJ Mo, so I just wanna say I am straight and I would not fall for him ever. Just for the sake of all of us, I took these pictures, without Mo knowing that I was in front of him, real close.

For those who do not know Andi9, she’s a smart DJ, and she was part of The Good Times With Mo before. One of the reasons I always tune in to the station every morning. Her voice is lovely, though she does not talk that much, unlike Grace Lee. I never got any idea before of what she looks like, though I knew she’s beautiful since DJ Mo never missed a morning trying to impress Andi. Her real name is Andrea Manzano, which you probably are familiar with.

Currently, she is part of the Top 5 @ 5 on the same FM station, Magic 89.9 with Joey. You can see her on TV as well because she completes the 3 girls of Good Times on Studio 23. Don’t tell me you did not watch the episode last week while she’s in bikini.

Well, enough of this long introduction and let’s start falling in love with her.

It’s a little intriguing. And it’s starting to get hotter an issue going on at the “true people’s” favorite FM Radio station, Magic 89.9. I began to hear this issue last Tuesday night when I had a chance to listen again to my once favorite radio program, Boys Night Out.

They say, the management does not want Sam Y G anymore in the program, or might probably in the station. What I heard is that…

The management is getting rid of him because of low ratings he brings, huge penalties from KBP, and countless letters from offended listeners and agry parents… There’s also a rumor that he wants to go to showbiz. And another rumor tells that his Visa has expired and he needs to go back to India.

At first I thought it was just another gimmick. They do not seem serious when mentioned it. Until the next morning when Sam guested on Good Times With Mo with Mojo and Grace Lee. I am not sure if he will be replacing Mo for the meantime while Mo is out to watch NBA All Star for this season. Anyway, I started to believe that Sam is really under big trouble. Though he doesn’t seem troubled.

Mo Twister brought the idea of forbidden question on Radio and it hits the air like super typhoon. It created controversies and showbiz interests among people boosted up as well. It also became a source of intrigue for some celebrities. Another idea that hits the air is the lie detector test.

DJ Mo also hosts on GMA 7′s Showbiz Central every Sunday. At first, the show was just full of nice teasers / trailers / commercial and other tricks to encourage viewers to watch the show but there’s nothing really interesting when you watch it. They just merely discusses issues that are also being aired on other shows. Some of the topics are even older than my Granny.

Later on, the Lie Detector Test and the Forbidden Question idea came on the show. Surely, it was Mo’s idea. And it was so clever because other shows do not do that. And it’s definitely the only part of the show which most viewers awaits to see. Though, for the forbidden question, they only have one.

Somebody called yesterday, played “Ang Yabang Mo”, stuttered a bit when Mo said that Call Centers are sex farms, but made it and kissed Mo’s ass for a minute then won a Samsung Mobile Phone right away. Wow. No sweat.

Tok Tok Tok, Isang Milyon Pasok, is a game show on GMA 7 aired every Sunday. The show is hosted by Paolo Bediones with the Sexbomb Dancers. Today they had Mo and Mojo on the game. The two DJ’s are the smartest among the contestants. But I wasn’t able to finish the show so I don’t know whether or not they won the game.
