Yesterday, Noelle Cassandra paid another visit to Good Times With Mo. Like always, she’s with her harp and you know what happens when they get together, right? They bring music. So like before, she and her harp performed on air. And if you missed it, don’t fret because I have recorded all her performances on my tiny Go Gear in very acceptable clarity.

But the thing is, trimming each song from the whole recording is time consuming sometimes. I usually stay up late just to trim and upload the copies to my folder, like what I did before. No worries though because I’m not gonna charge you. But this time, I will only upload the files if at least ten (10) of my readers ask for it. And since I have no readers at all, it means uploading the songs may also not happen. Hmmm.

Rico Blanco has just made another masterpiece inspired by the recent typhoons that victimized many. The message basically covers how Filipinos are so great when it comes to helping one another. Rico recognized the “Bayanihan” traits we have in our hearts. There’s always rainbow after the rain, like many say, is also wonderfully described in the song.

It was rather a remarkable episode of GTWM last Thursday when the featured Noelle Cassandra, harpist/singer/songwriter on the show. And they thought it was a good idea to make every Thursday special so they invited Mike Villegas and Cookie Chua today.

Mike Villegas is the guitarist of Rizal Underground and Color It Red. He’s one hell of a monster when it comes to playing the guitar. Aside from playing guitars, he’s also an expert on a lot of different things.

Cookie Chua is the lead vocalist of Color It Red. The band was one of the best during the 90′s in the OPM era. Their song ‘Paglisan’ is the most favorite song of my Grade school crush. tee hee!

Mike and Cookie have been playing together and for a long time and they do it well. They are like a duo in crime when it comes to bringing enjoyment to Bar goers in the metrow.

Anyways, enough of the blah-blahs and let’s get to the Live Performance MP3 download thing. While on my way to the office this morning, I recorded all the songs they played on the show. The radio signal is a bit high-and-low along the way but the result was not too bad. I’m uploading the copy at 11:00pm-esque tonight when I get back home. Promise!

Noelle Cassandra was on the show this morning. She performed at least 8 songs while on the show and it’s for free. I never missed a single song but I still missed a lot since I was not there and wasn’t able to witness her live performance. And worst of all, I didn’t see her at all.

To all of you who liked her songs, I am sharing to you everything I got. I recorded her songs and it was pretty good. But still, there’s some hissing sound you can hear. But it doesn’t matter. Noelle’s voice will make you forget about distractions. You might also not hear Grace Lee’s voice when she sang Runaway with Noelle. Apparently, Mo Twister set her microphone to the lowest so she cannot mess it up.

Noelle Cassandra in on the show today. She’s the only Asian Harpist/Singer/Songwriter. She has a charming voice. She sang Imagine by John Lennon earlier, an excerpt of Pasko na Sinta Ko, and just done with After The Rain. She also did Runaway by the Corrs with Grace Lee kind of whispering in the background. Mo, that was too low on Grace’s mic.

Noelle Cassandra is Canadian-born. She started playing harp when she was 4 years old. And now performing with known artists all over the world.

Added info, she’s 5’7″ and she weighs just normal.

It always warms my heart whenever Grace Lee tells how she love the Philippines and consider herself a Filipino. Though sometimes I’m thinking of living somewhere outside the country and change nationality . Call me hypocrite but really, I’m proud of this American dude who covers OPM songs such as Narda by Kamekaze, Eraserheads, Rico Blanco, Parokya ni Edgar and Noypi by Bamboo… I don’t know much about him at this point, but it seems to me he’s at least a drop of Filipino blood passing thru his veins. His channel in YouTube, AkosichrisTV has gained a lot of respect from Filipino fans. He calls his covers, JoePM. This guy is cool and deserves my precious clap clap.

I WANT TO SEE THIS GUY PERFORM LIVE IN CONCERT IN THE PHILIPPINES. HE’S TRULY AMAZING!!!
